About team:
The Security Evangelist is a part of the Kaspersky ICS CERT Team, engaged in cyber threat intelligence research projects and initiatives, as well as promotion of Kaspersky ICS / IoT cyber security expertise and building relations with key industry drivers.
Principle responsibilities:
- Keep track of the team’s threat intelligence and vulnerability research projects, process news and 3-rd-party publications on ICS / IIoT / SmartCity / Transportation / Automotive threats and vulnerabilities
- Generate new research ideas
- Participate in the new research topic discussion / triage / prioritizing
- Write analytical reports on threats and vulnerabilities – both public and commercial
- Maintain the expert threat / vulnerability news feed at the ICS-CERT website
- Contribute to social media channels
- Build relations with the research community and ICS security community
- Speak at conferences across the Globe
- Write articles, give interviews on ICS/IoT- cyber threat related topics
- Provide expert support to Kaspersky Sales, PR and GR teams
Mandatory skills:
- Practical experience in cyber threat research projects
- Knowledge of technical methods of information security, as well as technologies and software and hardware means of information security Information security threats, software vulnerabilities and attack methods
- Cyberattack detection tools and technologies
- Malware reverse engineering and analysis
- Cyber threat hunting
- Digital forensics
- Incident investigation
Other requirements:
- Certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM and programming skills (one of the scripting languages) might be an advantage
